The office of the public prosecution filed a case against a defendant before the court. It requested the court to penalize the defendant for accepting a bribe.

The defendant denied the accusation made by the office.

The court considered the documents of the case. The court said that the documents revealed that the material element was existed in the case.

The court ruled that the defendant should pay a fine 2000 Riyals in accordance with Article 1 of Saudi Arabia Royal Decree No. M36/1412

The court of appeal upheld the ruling.
