The office of the public prosecution filed a case against two defendants before the court. They requested the court to penalize the defendants who worked as public servants for assaulting and arresting a person.

The second defendant admitted that he had arrested the mentioned person but he said that his action were made at the request of the local council.

The court considered the documents of the case. The court said that the documents had revealed that the action made by the second defendant was not approved by the local council.

The court ruled that the first defendant should be imprisoned for three months and that he should pay a fine of 15000 Riyals. The court ruled that the second defendant should pay a fine of 10000 Riyals.

The court of appeal upheld the ruling.
