The office of public prosecutor filed a case against a defendant before the court. They requested the court charge the defendant with possessing firearms.

The defendant said that he did not own the firearm.

The court considered the documents of the case. The court said that the current case was related to other criminal cases. The court said that Article 127 of Saudi Arabia Cabinet Decision No. 12/1435 stipulated that if the consideration of a case fell under the jurisdiction of different courts, the court with the board jurisdiction should consider the case. The court said that therefore the consideration of the case fell under the jurisdiction of the criminal court.

The court referred the case to the office in order to be referred to the criminal court.

The office appealed the ruling before the court of appeal.

The court dismissed the appeal and upheld the appealed ruling.
