SBG 4776/2014
This case involved compensation for compulsory purchase of land in order to build an electricity station. The purchase was by a company which was not an administrative entity so the Board of Grievances lacked jurisdiction.
Background
A claimant filed a case against a company before the court. He said that the company took a part of his land in order to install electric stations. He said that the company paid him compensation but it was not enough. He requested the court to dismiss the valuation document for the land.
Decision
The court said that the company was not an administrative entity. The court said that the Board of Grievances was an administrative court.
The court said that the consideration of the case therefore did not fall under the board's jurisdiction.
The claimant appealed the ruling before the court of appeal.
The court dismissed the appeal and upheld the appealed ruling
