The court accepted the Insolvency Committee's decision to terminate the administrative liquidation proceedings of a trading establishment, suspending claims and enforcement proceedings against it for 24 months following the conclusion of the proceedings.

Background

The representative of an Insolvency Committee had filed a request to the Commercial Court of Riyadh to: terminate the administrative liquidation proceedings of a Trading Establishment and notify the Insolvency Committee's Secretariat of this decision

Suspending claims against the establishment in the administrative liquidation proceedings was deemed terminated by the court's decision to accept the deposit of the Insolvency Committee's decision to terminate the administrative liquidation proceedings pursuant to Article 169 of Saudi Arabia Cabinet Decision No. 264/1439, and based on Articles 181 of Saudi Arabia Cabinet Decision No. 264/1439 and Article 21 of tSaudi Arabia Cabinet Decision No. 622/1439 , none of its creditors arising from debts prior to the initiation of the proceedings could submit any execution request against it, nor could the enforcement proceedings be resumed against it within 24 months following the conclusion of the proceedings.
