This case involved a request by a wife for the initiation of the process to annul her marriage or nikkah contract. The wife claimed there was marital discord between the husband and wife and that there had been a failure to establish intimacy between the two, and a lack of desire to establish marital life. The parties had consulted with their family and asked them to help with the arbitration of this matter, but attempts had failed, which had resulting in this request for the annulment of the marriage or nikkah contract. It was also stated the women had been married despite having not having reached the age of puberty at that time. However, she now had two children, aged five and seven. The case also considered the custody of the children, and that the father should provide maintenance for them. It also ruled on access visits and that each parent should have visits for two weeks, and whatever else was in the interest of the children should be served.
