Sami Mahgoub Mohammed Moustafa v Sharq Insurance LLC
This case involved amounts due on termination to an employee who had been asked to take on different duties than those he was appointed to do but had never been paid extra for these duties. Key considerations were the fact the employee had signed an end of service settlement agreement which stated he had been paid all dues and the length of time he had carried out the other duties without raising a complaint about the salary. A claim for flight tickets was allowed as the employer had admitted these were due.
