Background

A claimant filed a case against a contracting company before the court. They requested the court to order the contracting company to pay 1388.8 Dinars. They said that they had assigned the company to finish contracting work in their commercial shops. The contracting company had committed to deliver the work on 15/01/2009. The contracting company failed to deliver the work on time and caused damage to the claimant. They said that they had already filed a case in order to prove the status of the work.

The contracting company filed a case against the claimant. The company requested the court to appoint a committee of three experts in order to settle the accounts between the two parties and to determine the damages that had resulted from the claimant’s failure to commit to their obligations.

The court ruled that the contracting company should pay the claimant 1388.80 Dinars. The court dismissed the company’s case.
