KCC 2125/2020
The original case involved a claimant who had been refused a loan by a bank and had sold a property to the bank as a guarantee but failed to receive the value o the property. Background
A claimant filed a case against a bank before the court. The claimant requested the court to dismiss the contract signed with the bank and to order the bank to pay temporary compensation of 5001 Dinars. The claimant requested the court to appoint an expert in order to check whether the bank paid the amount or not. He said that he had requested a loan from the bank and that the bank had dismissed his request. He said that he then made the request via a company in which he was a partner. He said that he sold a property to the bank as a guarantee without receiving its value. He said that the bank had failed to pay the property value. The claimant added other defendants to the case.
