Background

An employee filed a case against a company before the department of labour disputes settlement. He said that he had been working for a company and that he had left the job without being paid his financial entitlements. He requested the company to pay these entitlements. The department referred the case to the court.

The court dismissed the case.

The employee appealed the ruling before the court of appeal. The court upheld the appealed ruling.

The employee appealed the ruling before the court of cassation.

Decisioin

The court of cassation repealed the appealed ruling and referred the case to an expert.

The court of cassation repealed the appealed ruling and ruled that the company should pay the employee 7200 Dinars for wages, 1434.996 Dinars for severance payment and 2278.5 Dinars for leave.
