Background
An employee filed a case against a company before the commission of labour disputes settlement. He said that he had retired from the company but it had failed to pay his entitlement. The case was referred to the court.
The company filed a case against the employee before the court. The company requested the court to order the employee to pay the amount of money.
The court ruled that the company should pay the employee 194449.2 Dinars.
The employee and the company appealed the ruling before the court of appeal. The court amended the appealed ruling and ruled that the company should pay the employee 275789.7 Dinars.
The employee and the company appealed the ruling before the court of cassation.
Decision
Appeals No. 2342&2354/2017:
The employee said in his grounds of appeal that the ruling had erred in the application of law and had insufficient evidence of causation. He said that the court had failed to order the company to pay him his share in profits for 2013.
