KCC 195/2016
This case involved a running issued against a partner of a company which had rented a property and failed to pay the rent. A key issue was whether the partner had been a party in a previous case which involved the company which had rented the property.
Background
A landlord filed a case against a tenant before the court. He requested the court to order the tenant to pay him 25920 Dinars and other arrears in addition to legal interests of 7%. He said that the tenant had rented a property from him but failed to pay the rent.
The court ruled that the tenant should pay the landlord 25920 Dinars.
The tenant appealed the ruling before the court of appeal. The court dismissed the appealed ruling and refused to consider the case because it had been previously settled.
