The office of public prosecution accused a defendant of indecent assault, impersonation and beating. The office also accused other defendants of neglect and causing damage to patients. The office requested the court to penalise the defendants according to the relevant laws.

The court ruled that the first defendant should be imprisoned for five years. The court acquitted the other defendants.

The office and the first defendant appealed the ruling before the court of appeal. The court dismissed the appealed ruling issued against the first defendant and suspended the announcement of the ruling on the condition that the defendant paid a guarantee of 200 Dinars and demonstrated good conduct for one year. The court dismissed the office’s appeal.
