The office of public prosecution accused two defendants of stabbing a victim. The office requested the court to penalise the defendants according to the relevant laws.

The court ruled that the defendants should be imprisoned for four years each and that they should pay a guarantee of 1000 Dinars each in order to have the ruling to be suspended.

The two defendants made an objection to the ruling. The court dismissed the appealed ruling against the first defendant and acquitted him and upheld the appealed ruling otherwise.

The second defendant and the office appealed the ruling before the court of appeal. The court upheld the appealed ruling.
