Background

An employee filed a case against a company requesting that the court order the company to pay his salaries.

The court ruled that the company pay the employee 2007.21 Dinars.

The company appealed and the appeal court upheld the ruling.

The company appealed by cassation.

Decision

The cassation court repealed the ruling and assigned an expert to review the case documents. The expert then stated that the company had provided him with a document in which the employee had given up the case against the company.

The court held that the case should therefore be considered illegal and abandoned the ruling and rejected the case.
