In an appeal the court of cassation said that the appellant failed to prove his claims.

The court said that the documents of the case revealed that the appellant still owed 22000 Dinars to the debtor. The court said that the court was not satisfied with the testimony of the witness that the appellant did not owe the amount of money in accordance with two documents. The court said that the documents of the case revealed that the judges who considered the case and reserved it were the same as the ones who announced the ruling. The court said that the appellant's defence was therefore irrelevant in this regard.

The court dismissed the appeal.
