The documents of the case revealed that the court had concluded that the determination of the administrative entity on the required disciplines in the faculty of medicine fells under its authority.

The court said that the determination of these disciplines should fulfil the public interests. The court said that the University of Kuwait had decided not to add the disciplines of cosmetic surgery to the required disciplines. The court said that there was no law that obliged the university to add the mentioned discipline to the academic plan. The court said that the appellant's defence was therefore irrelevant.

The court dismissed the appeal.
