KCC 661/2010

This case involved an individual convicted of forgery and fraud. A key point was whether he had made a valid appeal.

Background

An appellant said in his grounds of appeal that the appealed ruling by which his appeal was rejected in form had erred in the application of law and had insufficient evidence of causation. He said in his grounds of appeal that he made his appeal on the date approved by the technical office in the court of appeal. He also said that the court convicted him of fabrication and fraud though the elements of these crimes did not exist in his case.
