Background

An employee made a complaint against a company before the Labour Department and stated that he had been injured at the work and had become disabled and the company had refused to pay his salary. The department referred the case to the court.

The court ruled the company should pay the employee 28607.700 Dinars.

The company appealed the ruling before the court of appeal. The court changed the appealed ruling and ruled the company should pay the employee 19607.700 Dinars.

The court of cassation decided to repeal the ruling and to appoint a new committee of experts in order to determine the wage that the employee used to receive at the time of injury.
