Background

A claimant filed a case against two defendants and requested the court to order the first defendant to pay him an amount of money and order the defendants to pay legal interest.

The court repealed the ruling and referred the case to the expert. The expert stated he had failed to finish his task due to a lack of financial statements by which he could calculate the dues of the claimant.

The court stated that the claimant left his case according to Article 9 of Kuwait Law No. 63/1998.

The court abandoned the appealed ruling.
