KCC 219/2000

This case involved a claim for shares and compensation to be paid by a company. The claimant wrongly argued the court should have appointed an expert to prove her claims. This was not possible as although the court had appointed an expert they could not finish their task as there were insufficient company accounts.

Background

A claimant filed a case against defendants and requested the court order the first defendant to pay the value of her shares and compensation.

The second defendant (a company) filed a case against the claimant and requested the court to validate the amendment company contract No. 113 and order he claimant to pay compensation.

The court rejected the two cases.

The claimant and the company appealed the ruling before the court of appeal. The court rejected the appeal made by the claimant and ruled the contract should be validated.
