Payment of Compensation – Work Injury
A case involved a dispute between an employee and two companies over the payment of compensation for a work injury.
Background
An employee filed a case against two companies requesting that the court order them to pay compensation for a work injury.
The court ruled that the companies pay the employee 9999.999 Dinars.
The first company appealed and the appeal court upheld the ruling regards the first company and abandoned the ruling regards the second company.
The first company appealed by cassation.
Decision
Before the cassation court the company argued that the ruling had violated the law as the court had rejected the case against the second company.
The court held that this argument was invalid and dismissed the appeal.
