The initial dispute involved entitlement following an unfair dismissal of an employee. A key point was the validity of a clause in a second employment which had changed the employee's salary.
Background
An employee made a complaint to the department of labour against an employer. He said that he was working for an employer and he was dismissed from his job without legal justification. He requested the employer to pay his entitlements. The department referred the case to the court.
The court ruled that the employer should pay the employee 914 Dinars.
The employee appealed the ruling before the court of appeal. The court amended the appealed ruling and ruled that the employer should pay the employee 4033 Dinars.
