Employee - Grade - Administrative Decision - Plea
This case involved a complaint by an employee who felt his grade was incorrect. A key point was whether the administrative entity had been positive about the plea. Although the entity had authorised a higher grade this had not been until after the plea was made.
Background
A claimant filed a case against a defendant in his capacity before the court. He requested the court to order the defendant to dismiss the a decision by which he was employed at grade 15 and to validate his right to be employed at grade 18. He also requested the court to order the defendant to pay the financial entitlements accordingly.
The court dismissed the case.
The claimant appealed the ruling before the court of appeal. The court upheld the appealed ruling.
