Overseas Ruling - Execution - Divorce - Access to Child
This case involved the execution of a previous child access ruling in Bahrain. A key point was the Kuwaiti court should just be considered as an execution request and should not consider the case.
Background
A woman filed a case against a man before the court. She requested the court to order the man to execute a previous ruling issued in Bahrain. She said that she used to be the man's wife and that she got divorced. She said that the mentioned ruling ordered him to bring her son to Bahrain three days each month in order she could see him but the man failed to execute the ruling.
The court ruled that the man should execute the ruling.
The defendant appealed the ruling before the court of appeal. The court upheld the appealed ruling.
