This case involved an employee who had worked for an employer for two periods who requested severance pay and holiday pay, and whether the statute of limitations applied.
Background
An employee made a complaint to the department of labour against an employer. He said that he was working for the employer but he failed to pay his entitlements. He requested the employer to pay him severance pay and holiday pay. The department referred the case to the court.
The court ruled that the employer should pay the employee 2058 Dinars.
The employee appealed the ruling before the court of appeal. The court amended the appealed ruling and ruled that the employer should pay the employee 7860 Dinars.
