This case involved a claim by against the chief of the board of directors of a housing association for unpaid money under a contracting contract. A key issue was whether the administrative court had jurisdiction, which it did not as the administrative entity was not a party to the litigation.
Background
A claimant filed a case against the chief of board of directors of a housing association before the court of first instance requesting the association pay an amount of money for the remaining value of a contracting contract.
The chief filed a case against the claimant before the court of first instance requesting the claimant pay delay fees.
The claimant then added another defendant in order to provide documents which related to the case.
The court dismissed the case made by the chief and ruled the chief should pay the claimant 65.411 Egyptian Pounds.
The chief appealed the ruling before the court of appeal. The court dismissed the appeal and upheld the appealed ruling.
