Lezly Bank (Pjsc) v Lazaro

Background

A bank provided financial services including credit cards and personal loans to customers and the the Defendant was, an individual customer.

3The parties entered into a written agreement on 26 January 2017, entitled Lezly Personal Loan, Car Loan and Credit Card Application Form'.

Following an Application made by the Defendant to the Claimant, the Claimant granted him a Personal Instalment Loan of 235,000 AED on 13 December 2017t repayable in 48 monthly instalments of 5,740 AED, a Car Loan of 64,560 AED on 16 April 2015 which was repayable in 60 monthly instalments of 1,224 AED and a Visa Gold Credit Card number 4797461523429481 on 25 March 2015 with limit of 81,300 AED.

The Defendant stated that he had made certain payments and the figures provided by the Claimant in this claim were not updated to reflect the current outstanding amounts.
