Linsi v Limda Brokers

This case involved a settlement agreement which had been agreed by an employer and employee following termination under which it was agreed there would be no further litigation. However, the employee took a claim for unpaid wages, pay in lieu of notice and holiday pay. Issues included the validity of the settlement agreement and what was the employee's basic wage as it was stated part of the monthly payment related to an advance on commission. A counter claim for a loan by the employer and overpayment of the advance on commission was also considered.
