Background

An Appellant filed action NO 151/2004 against the Respondents demanding the ratification of an arbitration judgment issued by DIAC on 29/11/2003 in the arbitration case No 13/2001. The Plaintiff stated that that the parties had agreed on the execution of the judgment in Dubai and on 18/10/2004, the court decided to cease the action until the final judgment in action No 80/2004 on the annulment of judgment No 13/2001, was issued.

Appeal in Cassation before the Federal Supreme Court

The Plaintiff appealed in cassation through a memorandum of appeal deposited at the clerk's office demanding the reverse of the judgment. The Respondent's attorney filed a motion demanding that the appeal be rejected.
