Unfair Dismissal – Employee – Resignation – Pressure – Demotion – Contract of Employment
This case involved a claim for unfair dismissal by an employee who stated they had been pressured to resign because they had been demoted. The company tried to argue that the contract of employment had not been violated as it did not specifically state the employee was to work as a General Manager. The court stated this argument was invalid because the case documents revealed the company had demoted the employee and violated its commitments according to the contract. It was a case of unfair dismissal.
