Background
The Appellant (a Hospital) filed suit no.258 of 2007 (Civil) before the Dubai Court of First Instance against the Respondents requesting they jointly settle compensation of 1 000 000 AED on the basis that, the First Respondent was working for the Appellant and his resignation violated a 2-year employment contract starting from 06/01/2007 led to a dispute arising from his resignation.
Following his resignation, the First respondent presented his case to the Fourth Respondent (a newspaper) after contacting the Third Respondent who was the paper's assistant). The paper was owned by the Fifth Respondent and its Editor.
