Background Facts:
A Respondent filed the action No834/2004 against the Appellant demanding that he pay her dowry worth 5,000 AED, her alimony worth 2,000 AED per month as of August 2004, and order him to deliver her their child and pay an alimony worth 1,000 AED per month for her. She asked to order him to prepare a dwelling house for her and pay 2,000 AED for it per month as of the date the action was filed. The Plaintiff also asked that her custody of the child be established and he pay her 600 AED in maid fees.
The Plaintiff stated that she had a consummate marriage with the Defendant]t and they had the child who was 8 months old which he took her away from her without any payment from August 2004 until the date the action was filed.
