Jurisdiction – National Court – Authentication – Arbitration decision – UAE courts – foreign country – Invalid – Britain – Issued within its jurisdiction
The jurisdiction of the National Court is the authentication of the arbitration decisions issued from UAE and not the arbitration decisions issued in a foreign country. The UAE courts may execute orders and arbitration awards issued from a foreign country without authentication or considering it invalid. The UAE courts shall not have jurisdiction over the authentication of the arbitration award issued from Britain, although the British law does not grant the British courts the authority to authenticate the order issued within its jurisdiction.
