Background

A Plaintiff, in his capacity as the owner of a hotel filed action No 193/2000 against the Defendants demanding that hey jointly pay him  511,504/55 AED and interest of 12% as of the maturity date until payment on the basis this was water and electricity which the First Defendant company used when building and constructing the hotel and they did not pay the water and electricity committee in Dubai which forced them to do it because of fear for having the water and electricity cut from the hotel.

The Second Defendant was the manager of the First Defendant company which was an LLC hence, and he should pay the amount jointly according to the Article 219 of tFederal Law No. 8/1984.
