This case considered should the parties agree upon an arbitration venue in the contract, such as Paris or Geneva, they may not revert to arbitration in Dubai, unless the parties have mutually consented to do so. Should a party claim that it is impossible to carry out the arbitration proceedings in the venue agreed upon, it must present a basis for such a claim and evidence to that effect.
