The Respondent sued the Appellant company in Case No. 179 of 1990, seeking AED 73,925 in compensation for damages resulting from the Appellant (her employer) seizing her assets, confiscating her passport, and pursuing legal action against her without legal grounds.

Court of First Instance – Decision dated 12/05/1990.
On May 12, 1990, the court ordered the Appellant to pay the Respondent AED 40,000.
Both parties appealed. The Respondent in Appeal No. 321 of 1990, and the Appellant in Appeal No. 322 of 1990.
Appeal Court – Appeals Nos. 321 and 322 of 1990 – Decision dated 24/03/1991.
The court consolidated the appeals and, on March 24, 1991, dismissed the Respondent's appeal and amended the Appellant's, reducing the award to AED 25,000.
The Appellant appealed this decision to the Court of Cassation (Appeal No. 125 of 1991).
