The claimants filed the a case with the High Civil Court against the defendant, demanding 80,000 Dinars in compensation for material and moral damages with interest because the second claimant had an accident caused by a driver who was insured by the company which resulted in 95% disability according to a medical report. the driver had been convicted by a court ruling.

The court asked the defendant to pay the claimants 64,600 Dinars and delay interest of 2% from the date the case was filed by a ruling appealed by the claimants.

The defendant appealed the ruling before the Civil High Court of Appeal which dismissed it and upheld the ruling.
