Background
A claimants filed a case before the civil court against the defendant demanding to prove their ownership of the property mentioned in a list and asking for it to be registered it in their names and for a document to be issued detailing their ownership.
They stated that they had inherited this property from their father who had owned it as a result of his long period of ownership.
Decision
The court ruled to accept to the claimants' requests.
The defendant appealed the rule before the Court of Appeal, which ruled to dismissed the case.
The claimants appealed the ruling before the court of cassation because of an error in the application of the law and corruption in reasoning.
The court said that the argument was valid, according to Bahrain Decree Law No. 192002, as 60 years should have passed before ownership was confirmed.
