Landlord – Tenant –Eviction – Rent –Delay
The original dispute involved a request for eviction of a tenant who had paid his rent late. Eviction was refused because the tenant had paid the outstanding rent before the case was filed by the landlord.
Background
A landlord filed a case against a tenant and requested the junior court force him to vacate land he had rented from the landlord because he had delayed paying the rent. The court ruled that the tenant should vacate the land. The tenant appealed the ruling before the court of appeal. The court upheld the ruling.
