This case involved a claim for compensation by a person who had been injured in an accident and their family. The key issue was when the statute of limitations should be calculated from.
Background
A claimant and his family filed a case against an insurance company before the court requesting the company pay 20000 Dinars and 10% interest. The claimant said he was injured in a car accident and the car was insured by the company.
The court ruled that the insurance company should pay the claimant 6000 Dinars and 450 Dinars for his family in addition to 5% interest.
The claimant and his family and the insurance company appealed the ruling before the court of appeal. The court dismissed the appeal made by the claimant and his family and dismissed the appealed ruling and dismissed the case due to the statute of limitations.
