Background

Some claimants filed a case against the department of real estate registration before the court claiming that the department had only registered the cultivated part of their land based on previous rulings in this regard. The claimants requested the court to dismiss these rulings and order the department to issue an ownership deed to them.

The court dismissed the case.

The claimants appealed the ruling before the court of appeal. The court upheld the appealed ruling.
