Employee’s Obligation – Termination of Employment – Study Leave - Salary
This case involved a claim by an employee that he had been forced to resign as he was not being paid and a counterclaim by the employer that he had had study leave overseas paid for and had agreed to work for the employer for two years after that but had not done so, so owed money. The employee had only spent one year on study leave, so could not be forced to work two years after and only a proportion of the money was due.
