Employment contract – Termination of Employment – Compensation – Holiday Pay – Late Salary – Employee’s rights
This case involved compensation and holiday pay due to employees who had had their contract terminated. The employees failed to provide sufficient evidence they were owed overtime pay or had paid money to the employer. However, they were due compensation.
Background
Two employees filed a case against a company before the labour court requesting the company pay them the late wages in addition to holiday pay and compensation.
The court ruled that the company should pay the employees 305.384 Dinars each.
The employees appealed the ruling before the court of appeal. The court dismissed the appeal and upheld the appealed ruling.
