This case involved amounts owed to an employee who had been dismissed. The company had merged with the company which originally employed the employee so was liable to pay their dues. It was also not possible to follow a settlement agreement which decreased the employee's years of service.
Background
An employee filed a case against a company before the court requesting the company pay him compensation for dismissal.
The court ruled that the company should pay the employee 1365 Dinars.
The employee and the company appealed the ruling before the court of appeal. The court dismissed the appeal made by the company and amended the appealed ruling and ruled the company should pay the employee 10540.833 Dinars.
The employee and the company appealed the ruling before the court of cassation.
