This case involved whether damages should be paid by an individual who had rented a car which had then been damaged in an accident.
Background
A claimant filed a case against a car rental company before the court and said that he rented a car from the company and the car was damaged due to an accident. The claimant said that the insurance company paid the company compensation but the company withdrew 2180 Dinars from his account. The claimant requested the company pay him 6172 Dinars and interest and return his credit card.
The court ruled that the company should pay the claimant 1602 Dinars and the interest.
