Background

An Appellant filed lawsuit No. 606/2023, requesting a ruling to compel the Respondent to pay them AED 1,505,000 as a penalty in accordance with the terms of the contract and AED 14,420.925, the value of the invoices that the appellant paid to complete the project, and AED 100,000 in compensation for the Respondent's breach of their obligations and profiting at their expense, and for the material and moral damages they suffered as a result of the loss of benefit and legal interest at a rate of 12%, and, alternatively, appointing an accounting expert to investigate the case.
