This case involved a request for compensation to be paid jointly by two defendants. An expert report was used to determine what should be paid. Signatures were missing from this report but it did not invalidate and the court did not need to accept every objection to the expert report.
Background
A claimant filed a case against the defendants and requested the court to order them to jointly pay 912357.25 AED and compensation of 150000 AED and to reverse the defendants' assets. Another claimant joined the first claimant and requested the court to order the defendant to pay these amounts.
The defendants filed a case against the first defendant and requested the court to reject the documents provided by him because they did not include their signatures.
The court ruled that the defendants should pay the claimant 902848.46 AED. The court rejected the defendants' case.
The defendants appealed the ruling before the court of appeal. The court upheld the ruling.
