It is a pleasure both to write the Foreword to this book, and to be with Justice Dr Muna Al-Marzouqi co-General Editor.

The Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre (QICDRC) comprising, among other things, the QFC Court and Regulatory Tribunal was established by the QFC Law (Qatar Law No. 7/2005) some 20 years ago, and has benefitted greatly from the stewardship of Lord Woolf of Barnes and Lord Phillips of Worth Matravers as its first two Presidents. During that time, as explained in the Preface, the jurisprudence of the QFC Court and Regulatory Tribunal has grown into a modern, sophisticated, and mature corpus of caselaw which has contributed significantly to the legal landscape in Qatar and regionally.
