Umar Shahid has over eighteen years of experience since qualifying in 2007, including two years in London and sixteen years at a Tier-1 Firm in Pakistan. His experience includes advising on corporate and commercial matters, mergers & acquisitions in various sectors, implementation of high value infrastructure projects, including in the mining and energy sectors, and Islamic and conventional project finance.

Umar holds an LLM degree from City Law School and has been called to the Bar of England & Wales after completing the Bar Vocational Course from City Law School.

He is a member of the Honorable Society of Lincolns Inn and a licensed Advocate of the High Courts by the Islamabad Bar Council in Pakistan.
